CMS G2- What's In It for You?

CMS G2 is comprised of modules that automate the entire licensing process. Following is a brief explanation of the CMS G2 Modules that are available:
Producer Onboarding/Data Gathering: CMS G2 Employment Management Module
Hiring of new producers has historically been a long and manually-intensive process. With the CMS G2 Employment Management Module, data is gathered electronically and populated onto hiring forms. Your company administrator can send new producers all forms and paperwork electronically, and receive completed forms, for easy checks and approvals. All forms can be routed for authorization and approvals, based on workflows built into the system, and data can be exchanged with your other external systems. The CMS G2 Employment Management Module also offers electronic communication between carriers and distributors, making the painful task of tracking activity much easier.
Data Management/Storage: CMS G2 Database Module
Once all of your producer data has been gathered, CMS G2 offers a data storage solution designed specifically for managing the producer career cycle. Rather than relying on existing databases, that typically are not designed to manage and track the specific data needed for licensing/registration compliance, the CMS G2 Database Module manages specific information and relationships between broker/dealers, branches, insurance companies and agencies. The system maintains licensing and registration data, and allows for precise organizational reporting hierarchies.
Education Tracking
Part of the Database Module, CMS G2 contains Education Tracking capabilities to help you track each producer's current requirements and progress through CE programs, firm element and other regulatory element criteria. CMS G2 allows you to establish and manage all types of courses and learning events and will interface with external learning platforms to track courses and completion milestones.
Transaction Management
Once all data is complete and approved within your organization, CMS G2 handles electronic processing with the states and FINRA®, including the submission of registration, appointment and termination forms and fees. In addition, PDB verifications can be automated as a part of the appointment process.
Producer Self-Service: CMS G2 Producer Portal
The CMS G2 Producer Portal is new to the industry, designed specifically for use by producers, providing a unique site where a producer can do business with CMS G2 corporate customers that have subscribed to one or more services offered through the Producer Portal.
In most cases today, producers must logon to systems using the same website as system administrators. The CMS G2 Producer Portal is designed just for producers, providing only the information needed by the producer, eliminating many steps and training that would be needed to learn to navigate a user interface (UI) designed for system administrators.
With each subsequent release, the CMS G2 Producer Portal will evolve toward being a one stop site, allowing the producer to communicate with many of the carriers for whom he is marketing insurance products from one location.
